Biography

Dr. Rupert Roopnarine is a world class professor of Comparative Literature. He first became a Member of Parliament in 1995 and has held several key Parliamentary appointments. In 2011 Dr. Roopnarine was the Prime Ministerial Candidate for APNU. In the 10th Parliament he has opposition responsibility for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
