Biography

A veteran Trade Unionist and President of the Guyana Agricultural Workers Union, Mr. Komal Chand is also an mechanic by trade and a farmer on the West Bank of Demerara. Komal Chand has been a PPP/C member of Parliament since 1992. In the 10th Parliament he has responsibility for Region No. 3 – West Demerara and the Essequibo Islands.
