Day four of the Consideration of the 2020 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure saw the allocation for Programmes for Regions 3 - 10 approved.

The House moved that the Current and Capital Expenditure for the following Regions, under the Ministry of Local Government & Regional Development, stand part of the Estimates.

• Region 3: Essequibo Islands/West Demerara
• Region 4: Demerara/Mahaica
• Region 5: Mahaica/Berbice
• Region 6: East Berbice/Corentyne
• Region 7 Cuyuni/Mazaruni
• Region 8: Potaro/Siparuni
• Region 9: Upper Takatu/Upper Essequibo
• Region 10: Upper Demerara/Upper Berbice

A Motion, by the Hon. Priya D. Manickchand, M.P., Minister of Education,

 was moved to amend the provision to extend the hours beyond 8.00 p.m. to complete the business of the day.
