In a fiercely competitive showdown, the defending champions, Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organisation, emerged victorious against the Leguan Progressive Youth Organisation Youth Group in the first of four matchups for round two of the Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition 2023. Mr. Mohendra Rambajue of the Leguan Progressive Youth Organisation Youth Group copped the Best Debater award for this matchup.
