Georgetown, Guyana – The clock is ticking! Youth groups across the ten Administrative Regions have just two more days to register for the 3rd Speaker’s Regional Youth Debating Competition (SRYDC 2025). The deadline for registration is Monday, February 10, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting event! 

How to Register: 

Participants are encouraged to register now by clicking on the following link to download the Participant Registration Form:

Submission Guidelines: 

- Youth groups are required to submit forms for three substantive debaters and no more than three alternates, all between the ages of 14 and 35. 

- Completed forms can be submitted to the Parliament Office or sent via email to carlleta.charles@parliament.gov.gy. 

- Registration forms can also be uplifted from Regional Offices and the Parliament Office. 

This competition is a fantastic opportunity for young people to showcase their debating skills, engage in meaningful discourse, and connect with peers from across the country.
