Biography

Min. Persaud holds a Diploma in Public Communications. A Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Guyana and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill). Head of the Government Information Agency (1999-2006), Former Minister of Agriculture Minister Persaud currently holds the portfolio of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment in addition to responsibility for Region No. 6 – East Berbice/Corentyne.
