Acting British High Commissioner pays Courtesy Call on Speaker of the National Assembly

Acting British High Commissioner to Guyana, Mr. Ross Denny, on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly.
They met in the Speaker’s Chamber at the Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown.
During the visit, their discussion focused on various areas of mutual interest aimed at continuing relations between the two countries.
Also present during the visit was the Head of Communications, Press and Political Affairs attached to the British High Commission (Guyana), Mr. Dillion Seetram, and Parliamentary Executive Officer, Ms. Carlleta Charles, attached to the Parliament Office.
During his visit, the Acting British High Commissioner signed the visitors’ book and toured the Parliament’s Chamber.
Mr. Denny, a career diplomat, recently served as Ambassador to Costa Rica and has served in various positions in the British Foreign Service.
