Chinese Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Guyana, Mr. Cui Jianchun, today paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly.
They met in the Speaker’s Chamber at the Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown.
During the visit, their discussion focused on various issues of mutual interest aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries. Moreover, training opportunities for Members of Parliament and Parliamentary staff members were also a topic of discussion.
Mr. Chen Xilai, Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission and Ms. Wang Qiuyi, Attaché, Secretary to the Ambassador, Political & Protocol Affairs, attached to the Chinese Embassy in Guyana, accompanied the Chinese Ambassador during his visit.
